We recently created a copy of this unusual gate for our customer @gardenbuilders

The original gates were badly worn and beyond repair, so the brief was simple… create an exact copy of the neighbour’s gate.

Alfie handmade this gate from Sapele using traditional joinery techniques, carefully crafting each component and fitting every piece together perfectly.

This was incredibly time-consuming work, but the level of detail and craftsmanship really shows. We think Alfie did a fantastic job.

One thing we’re still unsure about is the style of this gate… it’s definitely not something we see every day. Its perhaps arts and crafts maybe it’s a Victorian style?
