Grading information
Standard Grade –
Standard grade posts are planed and have been graded to allow sound tight knots. These posts are Canadian Cedar and are perfect to use alongside our Cequence Cedar Fencing or our garden gates. Standard grade posts are fantastic value. Each post comes with a post saver sleeve giving a twenty year guarantee against rot.
Clear Grade A+
Clear grade Cedar posts have minimal knots and are perfect for building high spec pergolas and for garden joinery where the timber is on show. Often clients use our standard cedar posts with the fencing and then the Clear grade for gates. All Posts come with a free post saver sleeve giving a 20 year guarantee against rot.
