Redwood wall plates are a great option when you want to fix your fence panels to the side of a building or wall. Sometimes it is not possible to have a fence post because there may be a footing in the way or a paved patio so starting your fence from a wall plate that is fixed against the wall is a great option.

Redwood wall plates can also be used to hang gates. Simply fix a wall plate against a pier or a wall and then hang your hinges off the wall plate.
