Cedar Slatted Double Gates for wider openings
These wooden double gates can be supplied up to 180cm wide as a pair.
We will make the gates to size for you simply let us know what the opening size is that you have and we will make the gates to suit
Bespoke sizes over 180cm are available on request. For bespoke double gates look no further, these are made to measure.
Our Cedar slatted double gates are the perfect when a wider access to a garden or driveway is required.
You can have two equal sized gates or a standard gate and a smaller gate.
Unequal gates how they work
Generally with a pair of unequal gates the small gate is held in the closed position with a drop bolt. The larger gate then can be used day to day and will close against the smaller gate. When you need the full opening access you simply lift the drop bolt and both gates open to give a wider opening.
The benefit to having gates arranged like this is that you do not need a post in the middle. So if you have paving laid it makes installation a lot simpler!
Popular Cedar gate design
This is our original and popular Cequence slatted garden gate. The frame is made from sturdy Cedar with a slatted panel infill. The battens within this garden gate are square edge with 7mm gaps. The rear of the gate has supports to strengthen it. When choosing a wooden double gates, Cedar is considered to be one of the best materials on offer.
You may want to order Cedar posts to go with your gate we offer a gate post set that matches perfectly. A range of gate furniture is also available to suit all requirements. if you select a latch from our shop we can also fit this for you together with the hinges.
