Due to popular demand, our Venetian Redwood is finally available in a double sided fencing style (also called double slatted or hit and miss fence panels). If you prefer your Venetian fencing to look the same on both sides, this is the natural choice for you.

About the “Hit and miss” style

In simple terms, hit and miss is a batten placement pattern, in which the gaps of one side of the fence are covered by the battens of the other side. It should be noted, however, that at certain, unlikely angles, you will be able to see through small gaps in the fence.

A: Yes – these panels slot neatly into slotted concrete posts, making installation quick and secure. This combination gives you a strong, low-maintenance fence with a crisp modern appearance. They can also be fixed to traditional timber posts if you prefer an all-wood look.

A: We suggest two main options, depending on the style you want:
Slotted concrete posts – extremely durable, maintenance-free, and easy to install.
Our heavy duty timber slotted posts   – ideal if you want a natural, matching timber finish.
Adding a concrete or timber gravel board is highly recommended to extend the life of your fence by keeping the panels off the ground.
