Our popular wheelie bin storage unit design – now with vertical slats

Our vertical bin stores are all built from stunning, high-quality Red Cedar, manufactured in our workshop, here in the UK. Much like our horizontal slatted product, there are options available for cupboards and rear panels. Our bin stores are intended for use with 240L (standard UK size) general waste and recycling bins, but also works fantastic for all kinds of garden storage.

The dimensions of the Cedar frame and doors are 40mm x 40mm. A variety of batten styles are available. The bin stores in our photos have 44mm x 17mm battens with 7mm gaps as the infill slat panels.

The bin store can be set up so that the top hatch of the bin store attaches and lifts the lid of the bin for easy access.

Setting a bin store up against a wall

For bin storage units that are set up next to a wall, rear panels may not be required, as the back should be sufficiently blocked off by the wall. This gives a significant saving in cost.

Wheelie Bin Store Assembly & Installation

Our wheelie bin stores are designed for straightforward assembly and arrive in pre-made sections with clear, easy-to-follow instructions.

As standard, each bin store is supplied with a stainless steel strip fitted beneath the doors. This provides additional support and helps keep the doors aligned over time. Adjustable feet can be supplied on request, depending on your installation requirements.

Installing Bin Stores on a Flat Base

For installations on a flat, level surface, the stainless steel strip sits beneath the doors at the front of the store.

This strip keeps the doors straight and evenly spaced, adds structural support, and allows bins to roll in and out smoothly.

It is the simplest and most effective solution for flat-base installations.

Installing Bin Stores on a Sloped Surface

For installation on a gentle slope, we can supply adjustable feet and fixing brackets.

The adjustable feet allow the bin store to be levelled by up to approximately 30mm. The fixing brackets secure the store in position and help maintain correct door alignment.
