Our popular wheelie bin storage unit design – now with vertical slats

Our vertical bin stores are all built from stunning, high-quality Red Cedar, manufactured in our workshop, here in the UK. Much like our horizontal slatted product, there are options available for cupboards and rear panels. Our bin stores are intended for use with 240L (standard UK size) general waste and recycling bins, but also works fantastic for all kinds of garden storage.

The dimensions of the Cedar frame and doors are 40mm x 40mm. A variety of batten styles are available. The bin stores in our photos have 44mm x 17mm battens with 7mm gaps as the infill slat panels.

The bin store can be set up so that the top hatch of the bin store attaches and lifts the lid of the bin for easy access.

Setting a bin store up against a wall

For bin storage units that are set up next to a wall, rear panels may not be required, as the back should be sufficiently blocked off by the wall. This gives a significant saving in cost.

Put together with ease

Here at Contemporary Fencing, we like to keep our products simple in design and easy to build. An instruction guide is provided with every store showing how to fit together with ease. If you still need help, our customer support is available during working hours, happy to help with any queries.

Installation on a sloped surface

Though the bins ideally should be used on a flat surface, if you are working on a slight incline, it’s recommended that you adjust the feet accordingly to compensate for the slope. It’s important to consider that these feet can be leveled up (roughly) to 40mm – if you want a bin store fitted for a greater slant, we can trim the legs for a closer fit on request (contact our customer support for more information!)
