Our Landscaping battens are an ideal solution for building bespoke slatted fence panels, whilst keeping your fencing project budget low. Our fencing battens are pressure treated to give an attractive colour and great long term protection.
These planed battens have been cut to size to save you a lot of time during installation.
Made from a joinery grade Scandinavian Redwood with a planed finish and gently eased corners. Its important when ordering battens for slatted fencing to understand that not all battens are the same grade. We only use the finest grade that means there are less knots and the wood is straighter with a clean and attractive grain. We use these battens to build our slatted fencing panels so they have to be good!
A + Grade Landscape battens with eased corners
Our A Grade Redwood battens are ‘unsorted grade’ Scandinavian Redwood, this grade is the highest quality available in this timber. It means that the timber has few knots and has minimal surface imperfections. The colour of our battens is also very attractive unlike most other battens on the market, after a few weeks the green hue gradually fades and the battens turn a light golden brown colour. if you look at the gallery images of these battens installed as a fence you can see that the green treatment fades and the wood colour begins to show.
