These horizontal slat fence panels are the perfect option if you are looking for great quality and price. Made from Scandinavian Redwood in our UK based workshop. The Redwood timber is pressure treated to protect it from the elements, which also give it an attractive colouring.

A fence with strong horizontal lines is suitable for both contemporary and traditional gardens. We have carefully selected the timber for these fence panels, it is the highest grade available. This means it has minimal knots and has a planed smooth finish.

Quality Slat Fencing

Our horizontal slatted fence panels are designed to create a continuous line of fencing with no visible posts. The most popular way of fitting these panels is to have them fixed to the front of the posts so that you don’t have a break between each panel. You can also clad these pnels over the top of your existing fencing for a new look without the need to change your posts.

The Redwood battens are planed on all four sides and have gently eased corners.

Why are our panels better?

Our panels are made from a joinery grade Redwood. This means there is a very tight grain and few knots making the wood dense and stronger. It is then planed to a smooth finish with gently eased corners. Finally it is pressure treated to protect it from our harsh weather.
This makes the ideal material for quality horizontal slat fence panels. Our wood is selected to be made into fence panels, we do not buy battens for anything else. Online you can buy cheap panels with large knots and a rough grain, these can easily be spotted as the knots will cross over the whole slat. Look carefully at the images and you will see most other panels are not clean and as knot free as our timber.
Our panels may be a little more expensive but you are buying quality. We also only use stainless steel fixings where most other companies use galvanised nails.
